Mahmoud Ahmadinejad … Iran's President now has his own multilingual weblog.
TEHRAN: His political approach has become a byword for populism and now the Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has endowed it with a high-tech dimension by starting his own weblog.
The hardline Iranian leader's debut on the international blogosphere on Sunday came in the form of a 2300-word tract that asked readers to decide if the US and Israel were trying to start a new world war. Mr Ahmadinejad, who has identified himself with Iran's army of poor people, also described his humble origins in an impoverished rural village.
Here's his webshite.
Also, that's twice I've seen the word "tract" in reference to his internet outpouring. Meme of the day, anyone?
