Why Obama will prolong the occupation of Iraq

Should he be elected that'll be his job, to prolong the war and bring liberal America on board. But why? Obama wants to increase the pressure on Iran:

"Iran is a great threat. We have to make sure we are working with our allies to apply tightened pressure on Iran," the Illinois senator said.

In reference to Iran's recent missile tests. There is a reason behind these tests. A real arms race is going on in the Middle East. The subtle waltz (made all the more intricate by the anti-war movement at home and the resistance in Iraq) toward furthering the war continues. The Israeli airforce has recently completed dry bombing runs over Greece. You've got to keep your eye in, haven't you?

Obama as president will not be able to keep the pressure on Iran without maintaining occupations in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is already recouching his promise to withdraw troops from Iraq. He wants a sixteen month timetable? Anything can happen in sixteen months.
